How do we teach? All our courses are taught using experiential learning methods – so you definitely don't need to worry about sitting still and just listening to a long theoretical lecture. The courses include plenty of hands-on practice and simulations, where you can reinforce and fix the knowledge you've gained!

The training can take place either at your workplace or you can come to us at the Faculty of Science. In the offer below, we present the two main types of shorter courses that are in the greatest demand (we can of course adapt the length and content of the course to your requirements and possibilities).

The shortest course we offer is the so-called short course – the "Half-day First Aid Course" lasting 4 hours (4 × 60 minutes). In this course you will learn, both theoretically and practically, how to deal with the main first aid situations that can endanger a person's life (checking consciousness and breathing, resuscitation, stopping massive bleeding, etc.). The course also briefly covers selected advanced topics (such as burns, spinal injuries, and more). Details of the course can be found below.

If you would like more extensive training, we warmly recommend the "Full-day First Aid Course." This course includes everything in the short course, but adds new topics that are taught in greater detail. Most importantly, the course also includes several simulations where participants can thoroughly practice and consolidate everything they have learned.

Upon request, we are able to issue each participant a certificate of completion for the first aid training, specifying the time allocation and the main teaching topics (the certificate is issued provided the participant has actively taken part in the course and has not been absent for more than 30 minutes).
